"event_description": "<p>The meeting will be held through a hybrid format, both (i) virtually by means of electronic, telephonic or other communications facilities, and (ii) in person at 1050 Beaver Hall, Montréal, Québec (Salle Polyvalente), on Thursday May 7, 2026 at 9:30 am (Eastern time).<br /><br />Instructions for attending, participating and voting at BCE’s 2026 annual general shareholder meeting are included in the Notice of 2026 annual general shareholder meeting and management proxy circular, and additional information about attending, participating and voting at the meeting is included in BCE’s code of procedures and the LUMI AGM user guide, both of which are available in the under the heading Documents.</p><p>A link to the <a href=\"https://bce.lumiconnect.com/400-889-333-268\">video webcast</a> will become accessible on this page before the meeting starts.</p><p>Participants can also attend (but not vote) via telephone at 1-800-990-2777, with conference ID 83086 (English) or conference ID 92033 (French).</p><p> </p><p><strong>Technical requirements for attending the meeting online</strong></p><p>To attend the meeting online, <strong>please ensure that you have the latest versions of one of the following browsers:</strong> Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox. Internet Explorer is not compatible and other browsers may not be compatible.<br /><br />Internal network security protocols including <strong>firewalls and VPN connections may block access to the LUMI platform</strong>. If you are experiencing any difficulty connecting or watching the meeting, ensure your VPN setting is disabled or use a computer on a network not restricted to security settings of your organization. </p><p> </p><h3>Information for our shareholders</h3><p><strong>Attending and participating at the meeting online</strong><strong ><br bold=\"[object Object]\"/></strong>If you are a registered shareholder or duly appointed proxyholder, including a non-registered (beneficial) shareholder who has duly appointed yourself as a proxyholder, log in online at <a href=\"https://bce.lumiconnect.com/400-889-333-268\">bce.lumiconnect.com/400-889-333-268</a> select “I have a login” and then enter your 13-digit control number and password bce2026 (case sensitive).</p><p>If you are a guest, including a non-registered (beneficial) shareholder who has not duly appointed yourself as proxyholder, select “I am a guest” and register online. Guests can listen to the meeting, but are not able to vote, make motions or ask questions.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Attending and participating at the meeting in person</strong></p><p>Only registered shareholders and duly appointed proxyholders, including non-registered (beneficial) shareholders who have duly appointed themselves as a proxyholder, may participate, vote and ask questions in person at the meeting. If you are a registered shareholder and wish to vote your shares at the meeting in person, bring your proxy form with you to the meeting and check in at the registration table. If you are a proxyholder attending the meeting in person, you will need to register with our transfer agent, TSX Trust Company, at the registration table when you arrive at the meeting.</p><p>If you are a guest, including a non-registered (beneficial) shareholder who has not duly appointed yourself as proxyholder, you will not be able to participate, vote or ask questions at the meeting but will be able to attend the meeting as a guest. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Ask a question</strong><strong ><br bold=\"[object Object]\"/></strong>As a BCE shareholder, you can ask a question on any matter related to our 2026 annual general shareholder meeting, including the advisory vote on executive compensation, in advance of the meeting by clicking on Ask a question below and completing the online form or by contacting the Corporate Secretary by email at <a href=\"mailto:corporate.secretariat@bell.ca\">corporate.secretariat@bell.ca</a>, by telephone at 514-786-8424, or at the address set out in section 12.4 of the management proxy circular.
