Silver Leaf Award

Bell Canada received a Silver Leaf Award from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) for Labour Relations communications with employees. Silver Leaf is Canada's premiere professional awards program celebrating excellence in business communication.

Optimas Award

The Bell People First program received a 2006 Optimas award under the "Managing Change" category from the Workforce Management organization, which recognizes workforce initiatives that create positive business results for organizations.

Brandon Hall Excellence In Learning Awards

Brandon Hall Excellence In Learning Awards recognize the best in innovative, cutting-edge workplace learning by the independent firm Brandon Hall Research. In 2005 a total of 210 entries, representing 16 countries, were submitted. Each entry was evaluated by at least four reviewers from a pool of 479 independent judges. In 2005, Bell won two Brandon Hall Excellence Awards:

  • Bronze Excellence In Learning Award

    The Bell People First program won this award under the category, "Outstanding Case Study".

  • Silver Excellence In Learning Award

    Our Leadership in Action program won this award under the category, "Outstanding Case Study".

Top 100 most powerful women executives

Three Bell executives were listed among the 100 most powerful women in Canada for 2005 by the Women's Executive Network, an organization dedicated to the advancement and recognition of executive-minded women in the workplace.
