For 136 years, Bell has leveraged its ongoing success as a business to contribute to the well-being of Canadian society, not only by responsibly delivering innovative products and services to customers, and creating value for the shareholders who enable us to invest in innovation, but also by supporting pioneering programs that strengthen the communities we serve, such as the Bell Let’s Talk mental health initiative.

Our overall corporate goal – to be recognized by customers as Canada’s leading communications company – involves much more than just market leadership. Because of the nature of the groundbreaking technology we deploy, leadership for Bell also entails nurturing growth in the broader economy and, just as important, setting the standard for doing business transparently, honestly and ethically, including issues such as mitigating the impact of our industry on the environment and personal privacy.

To that end, we pursue this sustainability vision:

Our annual Corporate Responsibility Report details our achievements against specific objectives within the broader context of that sustainability vision. Again in 2015, we reported progress on an evolving set of issues identified through our ongoing dialogue with the full spectrum of our stakeholders. Given that we are a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, Bell also commits to report each year on our progress regarding human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
