Bell Canada and SANYO Canada
today announced the nationwide availability of the new SANYO SCP-7500 EV-DO
enabled mobile phone exclusively from Bell Mobility. EV-DO (EVolution Data
Optimized), is the fastest mobile network ever commercialized, delivering data
at blistering speeds that can reach up to 2.4 megabits per second. The SANYO
SCP-7500 combines broadband-like download speeds of the Bell EV-DO service
with several multimedia features including MP3 player, 1.3 mega-pixel digital
camera, video camera, video clip streaming service, and 70 MB (megabytes) of
internal memory - all housed in a rugged rubberized DuraGrip(TM) sports
design.
The SANYO SCP-7500 is SANYO's first next-generation multimedia wireless
handset to be paired with Bell's EV-DO service, offering a USB cable
connection to support wireless tethering on the EV-DO data network, providing
broadband-like connectivity for laptop users.
