Nearly 3 Million Viewers and New Ratings Record For CTV's Corner Gasmas Episode - "Merry Gasmas" Finishes as Most-Watched Program of the Night

TORONTO, Dec. 13 2005 -- Christmas came early last night for Corner Gas
when the hit CTV series smashed its previous single-program record and
delivered its biggest audience in history. The series' first-ever Christmas
episode, entitled "Merry Gasmas," peaked at 2.43 million viewers before
settling in to its record-breaking average audience of 2.2 million (2+), BBM
confirmed today. The half-hour episode was watched in some part by almost
three million Canadians, reaching 2.92 million viewers (2+).
