TORONTO, Dec. 17 2003 -- TSN will televise complete Team Canada coverage
from the 2004 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship from December 26 to
January 5, as the world's best junior hockey players from 10 different
countries travel to Helsinki and Hameenlinna, Finland to face off for global
hockey supremacy. This marks the 13th consecutive year TSN has televised
hockey's annual holiday tradition.
    TSN will broadcast all of Team Canada's games as well as the
quarter-finals, semifinals and gold medal game. CTV will team up with TSN to
simulcast Team Canada's opening game against Finland on Friday, Dec. 26 at
11 a.m. ET.
    TSN's Gord Miller will be in Finland to call the play-by-play action
alongside colour commentator Pierre McGuire, while Farhan Lalji will be
rinkside each game for updates, reports and interviews. Hockey Insider Bob
McKenzie and Molson That's Hockey host Gino Reda will man the desk for TSN's
World Juniors studio shows.
    In addition, Lalji will provide daily reports for SportsCentre leading up
to and during the tournament. SportsCentre will also have analysis from TSN's
team of hockey experts.

    As part of its comprehensive coverage, TSN will televise the World Junior
Hockey Championship Preview Show on Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 7 p.m. ET. Hosted by
McKenzie and Reda from the TSN Studio, the informative 30-minute program will
provide viewers with all of the latest details regarding the annual
tournament, including in-depth features and exclusive interviews.
