TORONTO,Dec. 20 2001 --Kevin Shea, Group Executive Vice-President,
Convergence is pleased to announce the appointment of Louise Clements to Vice-
President, Market Development, effective January 1, 2002.
    A key strategic position for BGM, the role will focus on three key areas:
developing and expanding integrated marketing relationships with key clients;
creating new media and distribution platforms for BGM; and developing BCE
convergence opportunities.
    Ms. Clements has developed an advanced knowledge of both traditional and
interactive media with more than 10 years progressive experience with
companies such as Southam Newspaper Group and AOL (US). She is currently the
Vice-President of Sales and E-Commerce for Sympatico-Lycos.
    Ms. Clements holds a BA in Political Science with a specialty in
International Relations from Glendon College, York University.
    Louise will be reporting directly to Mr. Shea, and will be based at the
BGM offices in Toronto.
