TORONTO,Sept. 29 2000 --TSN's The Dave Hodge Special returns to the
airwaves with an exclusive interview with Alexei Yashin and agent Mark
Gandler.
    The one-hour special airs Monday, October 2 at 8:00 pm ET.
    Both Yashin and Gandler have been reluctant to grant in-depth interviews
of this nature until now.
    The conversation between the controversial Ottawa Senator's star, his
agent and Hodge focuses on Yashin's decision to sit out the entire season last
year.
    Yashin reported to the NHL club for training camp and will play this
season. He and Gandler talk to Hodge at Yashin's home about his expectations
for this coming season and beyond.
    Hodge also talks with Glen Sather about joining the New York Rangers as
president and general manager after 24 years with Edmonton. Also on the
program: Mike "Pinball" Clemons talks about ending his accomplished career as
a player to take over coaching duties for the Toronto Argos.
