Another Tiger win, another ratings win for TSN

TORONTO,Aug. 29 2000 --Tiger Woods keeps on winning major championships
and Canadians keep watching him on TSN.
    The final round of the NEC Invitational, a World Golf Championship event,
drew an average audience of 419,000 on Sunday, Aug. 27. This is up from last
year's final round average of 321,000.
    The number peaked at 935,000 viewers as Woods played in little daylight
at 8:00 pm ET.
    Like all major men's golf tournaments on TSN this season, viewership for
the NEC Invitational jumped significantly.
    This year's tournament average for all rounds was 294,000, up 84 per cent
over last year's average of 160,000 viewers.
    On Sunday, Aug. 20, the final round of the 2000 PGA Championship drew an
average audience of 884,000 viewers, the highest rated TSN golf program of
all-time.
    Four-round audiences for that Tiger-won tournament were up 51 per cent
from last year.
    TSN is Canada's most watched sports network. Led by TSN SPORTSDESK, the
