    These contestants and a guest will travel to New York City September 6th
and tape two episodes of CTV's presentation of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,
Canadian Edition on September 7th.
    "Canadians have asked to participate in Millionaire since it launched.
We're delighted to finally give these Canadians from across the country the
chance to play and maybe win a million dollars. Congratulations to all of
them," says Susanne Boyce, Senior Vice President of Programming, CTV.
    In the specials, host Pamela Wallin will present a cache of questions
tailor-made for Canadian contestants. A "Hot Seat" contestant is just 15
questions away from ONE MILLION CANADIAN DOLLARS, tax-free. The long-awaited
broadcast of the 'Canadian version' of the hit game show for which only
Canadian residents are eligible, will air Wednesday Sept. 13th and Thursday
September 14th (check local listings).
    The audience for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Canadian Edition, will be
made up of Canadians. For information on how to be part of the studio
