Rick Brace Named President of NetStar Sports and Senior Vice-President of CTV Sports and OLN TORONTO,May 15 2000 --Trina McQueen, Executive Vice-President of CTV
Inc., today announced the appointment of Rick Brace as President of NetStar
Sports and Senior Vice-President of CTV Sports and the Outdoor Life Network.
Effective Monday May 22, Brace will be responsible for TSN, RDS, CTV
Network Sports, OLN as well as NetStar Sports Sales.
In announcing the appointment, McQueen said: "Rick's appointment is about
the future of sports television. His leadership, creativity and passion for
sports means that viewers can expect innovation and new excitement on their
screens. He will also be a key member of the CTV programming team; and we look
forward to his contributions there. Our friends and partners at ESPN and

Brace's broadcasting career has spanned more than 25 years, 15 of which
he worked at TSN as President; Executive Vice-President and General Manager;
Vice-President of Programming; Director of Programming; Executive Producer;
and Producer. Before joining the all-sports network in 1986, he was a Producer
and Director with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
Over the years, Brace has worked on the 1988 Winter Olympics for TSN, the
1984 Summer and Winter Olympics and the 1976 Summer Olympics at CBC. At TSN,
he negotiated the acquisition of major properties including the World Series,
World Cup of Soccer and Formula One auto racing.
CTV Inc. recently received CRTC approval to own 68% of NetStar
Communications Inc., with ESPN holding the remaining 32%.
