Bell ExpressVu adds Mandarin channel TalentVision

TORONTO,Oct. 16 2002 --Bell ExpressVu, Canada's leading satellite TV
company today added TalentVision to its line-up of Chinese programming.
TalentVision is a Mandarin language TV channel with high appeal amongst
Chinese speaking Canadians. Bell ExpressVu is the first satellite television
provider to carry this Chinese television station and will provide a free
preview of TalentVision to all of its subscribers until November 15.
With the addition of TalentVision, Bell ExpressVu continues its
commitment to serving Canada's growing Chinese community by offering them
programming of local and national interest in their own language. TalentVision
combined with the Locals package (more than 50 channels and access to more
than 50 pay per view channels) is just $20.90 per month - the lowest price in
Canada. Bell ExpressVu has also created a new package known as Chinese Combo
and with this pack subscribers receive Locals programming, TalentVision and
Fairchild Television for $35.99 - significant value when compared to cable
prices for similar packages across the country.

more than 20 Customer Service Representatives fluent in both Mandarin and
Cantonese. Joe Chan, President of TalentVision comments, "Our mandate is to
serve the Chinese Canadian communities of our country. We are very pleased to
partner up with Bell ExpressVu in bringing TalentVision, our Mandarin
programming services - now in its fifth year, to an even wider audience."
"It is not enough for us to simply provide Chinese customers with
programming in their own language," said Mark Knapton, Vice-President, Call
Centre Sales & Customer Service at Bell ExpressVu. "We must follow up by
supplying subscribers with Customer Service Representatives who can
communicate with them in their own language."
With more than 1.2 million subscribers, Bell ExpressVu is the leader in
digital satellite television. The company offers subscribers more than 300
video channels including Vu!, its own pay-per-view service.
