Bell ExpressVu Issues an Apology to WWF & Famous Players Guests

TORONTO, Feb. 28 /CNW/ - Bell ExpressVu today issued a statement of
apology to guests who attended the pay-per-view WWF event, "No Way Out" on the
evening of February 27th at selected Famous Players theatres. The company
takes full responsibility for the error, which occurred after the WWF event
had concluded. It happened because of a switching error, which caused a brief
transmission of programming intended for adult audiences. The company
sincerely regrets that this incident occurred and has taken the necessary
action to ensure that it will never happen again by rewiring the switching
facility.
Bell ExpressVu will reimburse the guests of Famous Players who attended
this event and has also offered this group complimentary tickets for the next
WWF event scheduled for April 30, 2000.
Bell ExpressVu has set-up a toll-free response line for guests to contact
them directly about any questions or concerns at 1-877-991-9973.
