BCE Emergis Receives E-Business Award For Innovation And Expertise

BCE Emergis Inc. today announced that it has received an E-Canada
Award in the category for companies with more than 100 employees.
The award is given to Canadian companies that have successfully
employed innovation and expertise to create an outstanding
e-business. In addition, participants are judged on their market
leadership and their use of the Internet to provide significant
advantages to their customers. The awards ceremony was held in
Ottawa on May 2.

Launched by CATAAlliance and .COMMERCE 2000, the annual business
and technology exposition in Ottawa, the E-Canada awards program
is the first of its kind to recognize e-business leaders in
Canada. Nortel Networks, PricewaterhouseCoopers and JawsTech are
sponsors.

"It is an exciting program," said CATAAlliance President, John
Reid. "E-business has been growing in Canada at a phenomenal
rate. And many Canadian e-businesses are world leaders. Now, for
the first time, they are being honoured for what they have
contributed to the New Economy. BCE Emergis exemplifies the type
of company that the E-Canada awards program looks to recognize."
