    Bell Canada offers local access rates for Business Internet customers
                           working internationally

TORONTO,Nov. 28 2001 --Bell Canada today launched Global Roaming, an
Internet access service that allows Bell Business Internet customers
traveling outside Canada to remotely connect to the Internet without paying
long-distance phone charges. By teaming with iPass(R) Inc., a premier provider
of next-generation remote access services, customers can log on to their
Business Internet account through more than 14,000 access points in over 150
countries with the ease and affordability of placing a local phone call.
Global Roaming is available to Bell Business Internet High Speed and Dial-Up
customers.
    "Whether in another city or halfway around the globe, employees, partners
or customers in multiple locations worldwide can now remotely connect to their
company Virtual Private Network, check e-mail or browse the Web without paying
long-distance charges," said Pat Tremaine, vice president, Bell ISP. "Using
the convenience of a single account login ID and password, Bell's Global
Roaming access is a quick, secure and affordable way for Business Internet
customers to access their Internet account from virtually anywhere in the
world."
    In Canada, Business Internet customers can access the Internet without
paying roaming charges using the Global Roaming dialer through any of the Bell
local PoPs (Points of Presence) across the country. For access through Global
Roaming PoPs within the United States, a flat hourly rate is charged. For
other countries where local Internet Service Providers exist
(excluding Russian Federation, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Belarus or Bulgaria), no
long-distance charges apply, but rates will vary from country to country. For
