Building on our Community Investment program, Bell will continue to support projects focused on healthy children and youth as well as community programs that strengthen the country’s social foundations.
Applying for Funding
Bell expects its social investments to have a positive, measurable impact. To that end we partner with organizations which share our company’s values, deliver programs that align with our policy, have clearly defined social goals, and demonstrate results.
To ensure your request meets our policy and funding guidelines, please follow the three steps below.
If you are seeking support for a non-charitable sponsored event, particularly hockey, arts & entertainment, or activities related to the Olympics, please see our sponsorship criteria.

Note: If you are interested in applying for a grant from one of Bell's specific community investment funds, please click on the appropriate link below. Applications for these grants must be submitted directly to the granting organization for consideration.

What to expect: When you submit a funding request you will receive an e-mail notification within 30 minutes confirming that your application has been received. We endeavour to evaluate applications in a timely manner and will send you an e-mail within two weeks telling you the status of your request. If we approve your request or wish to evaluate it further, we will normally contact you within four to six weeks of receipt. If we are unable to approve your request, you will be notified by e-mail within a few weeks of receiving your application.
Note 1: Due to the large volume of funding requests received by Bell and to ensure consistency in our application process, we are unable to accept applications or inquiries by telephone, e-mail or fax. Requests must be submitted on-line through this website.
Note 2: Although Bell remains committed to investing in communities where our employees live and work, we are undergoing many significant changes. As part of this process, we are evaluating our community investment programs to ensure alignment with our cost-effective and efficient approach to managing our business operations. A significant portion of our annual budget for community investments is already committed in 2009 and we will not be initiating any new partnerships. Thank you for your interest in Bell.
