My Briefcase: How it works

My Briefcase allows you to store a variety of documents available on our site in one single place. It is a fast and easy way of accessing the information that matters most to you, at your convenience. Don’t have time to read a full report or a news release immediately? Add it to My Briefcase and read it later.

No username or password is required – simply click on the briefcase icon next to the item that interests you and it will automatically be added to your personal briefcase.

How to use My Briefcase

  1. To use My Briefcase, you must first click on the box next to “Show briefcase icons” located at the top of the page. This will display a small briefcase icon next to all the documents on our website that can be added to your personal folder.
  2. To add an item to My Briefcase, simply click on the briefcase icon next to the document that interests you. Your item will appear as a link in your personal briefcase page.
  3. From your personal briefcase page you can view all your documents, delete links, and send items via email. To delete or send a document, simply place a check mark next to the item and click on the appropriate button.
  4. While surfing our website, documents already in your personal folder are easily identified by a lighter coloured briefcase icon. Also, the number of items in your folder is conveniently displayed at the top of every page next to My Briefcase. Each time you add an item to your personal folder or remove one, the number of items will adjust accordingly.

Optional features:

  • Send an email – To send an item via email to one or several people, select the document(s) and click on “Send.” A new page will open prompting you to enter the required information, including the recipient’s email address, etc.
  • Email reminder – Sign-up to receive an email reminder 3 days prior to your links being deleted. This option is available at the bottom of your personal briefcase page.
  • Pop-up message – The first time you add an item to My Briefcase, you will receive an alert informing you that an item has been added. To avoid seeing this message every time you add an item to your briefcase, please click on the checkbox entitled “Do not show me the alert message next time I add an item to My Briefcase.” To re-enable the pop-up message, simply check off the box to this effect on the My Briefcase page.
