Use this screen to subscribe to receive AMBER Alerts from the www.bell.ca/amberalert

E-mail Address: Mandatory

You can choose this e-mail address as your alert notification destination, your account sign in name and to confirm your identity. You will have the option to modify this address in the future by modifying your profile. You must use a valid format for e-mail address such as "username@bell.net".

Password: Mandatory

This will be your password for your AMBER Alert account. Choose a password that is memorable for you. Valid formats for passwords are six or more alphanumeric characters. Passwords are case sensitive so be aware of whether you use lower or upper case characters.
Important: It is important that you remember your e-mail address and password.

• You must remember your e-mail address and password in order to log in to make modifications to your profile.
• If you cannot remember your e-mail address, you will need to register again.

Confirm Password: Mandatory

This is the same password that you entered above. Please re-enter your password.

Cellular text messaging address for text to phone:

You must enter the full text messaging address in order to be able to receive text to your cell phone. You can choose this text messaging address as your primary alert notification method, your account sign in name and to confirm your identity. By default, AMBER Alerts will be sent to this text messaging address but you will have the option to modify alert notification via e-mail in the future by modifying your profile. Enter the ten digits of your cell phone number followed by the text messaging address @your provider text messaging address i.e. 4165551234@txt.bell.ca.

Check with your cell phone service provider for the proper extention. Entering only the phone number without the "@" extension is not valid.

Note: In order for receive AMBER Alerts via text message to your cell phone:

• Your cellular phone and service provider must support text-messaging
• You are subscribed to receive text messages on your device
• You must enter your full text messaging address i.e. 4165551234@txt.bell.ca;

Select the following area codes, You will receive AMBER Alerts that occur in those area codes.

You can select one or more of the following area codes or just choose your home area.

Select All:

If you click on this, to select all areas, you will be indicating that you want to be alerted for any AMBER Alert issued in Ontario.

You have to check this checkbox marked "I agree to allow www.bell.ca/amberalert to send me AMBER alerts via e-mail to the address entered above and I read and understand the policy & disclaimer on the webpage" before completing your subscription”

Note: Under no circumstances will you receive spam e-mail from www.bell.ca/amberalert and your name and email address will never be shared with any third party and you will not receive solicitations or advertising as a subscriber to the alert. From time to time, you may be notified of enhancements to the AMBER Alert system, such as the addition of new features or geographical areas.
