A Future for Sport and Youth

Throughout its long history, Bell has always been an avid supporter of sport at every level.

Bell sponsored the Canadian Olympic Team that competed in Torino 2006 and in Beijing 2008, and will support the team again in Vancouver 2010 and London 2012.

Bell also proudly supports the Bell Champions, a group of accomplished Olympic and Paralympic athletes across the country. These athletes include Steve Omischl, two-time Olympian and World Freestyle Ski Champion; Joannie Rochette, Olympian and Canadian Champion Figure Skater; Clara Hughes, Long Track Speed Skater with five Olympic medals; Amanda Overland, Olympic silver medalist in Speed Skating; Chantal Petitclerc, five time Paralympian in Wheelchair Racing with 21 medals; and Charmaine Crooks, five time Olympian and Olympic silver medalist in Athletics.

Additionally, to keep Canada’s top athletes connected with friends and family while in training or competition, Bell has been providing senior national team members with mobile phone and Internet services for more than ten years through the Bell Athletes Connect program, in partnership with AthletesCAN.
