Serving the Canadian telecommunications industry for more than 20 years, Mr. Cope was President and CEO of national wireless carrier Clearnet for 13 years before assuming the position of President and CEO of Telus Mobility in 2000. He joined Bell in 2005 as President and Chief Operating Officer of Bell Canada, and was appointed President and CEO of BCE and Bell in July 2008. Mr. Cope holds a B.Comm. (Honours) degree from the University of Western Ontario. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
