Prior to joining Bell, he held other significant senior positions which include Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Clearnet Communications, and Vice President, Marketing and Sales for Trillium Communications, a cable company and competitive access provider. Earlier in his career, he held management positions in marketing and business development with BCE Mobile and Bell Mobility.

Mr. Brown has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

Mr. Brown serves on the Boards of Roadpost and Axia NetMedia Corp.
