Mr. Boisvert joined Bell in 2006 as president of the Enterprise Group. He led a major transformation of this business unit, integrating it with the SMB and Western Canadian markets. Today, Bell Business Markets is a national leader due to its innovative solutions, products and services.

Renowned for his high standards, his excellent understanding of technology and his ability to engage the members of his team with a common objective, Mr. Boisvert is a leader who believes in a culture of participatory leadership and who pays special attention to the training of emerging professionals. In 2006, he established the Canadian Coalition for Tomorrow’s ICT Skills, an initiative to foster a strong workforce in the communications technology sector.

From 1985 to 2002, Mr. Boisvert worked for IBM Canada where he quickly made his mark in Quebec, Ontario and New York. He successively held the positions of account manager, general manager, brand manager, associate vice-president for the finance and insurance sector, director of marketing and business unit executive at NetGeneration where sales grew from $12M to $150M under his leadership.

In 2002, he joined Sun Microsystems, where he led a complete turnaround of the Canadian division—within three years, the division went from 14th to 1st in terms of profitability and revenue growth.

Mr. Boisvert currently sits on the board of directors of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation, the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation and the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal. In 2000, Mr. Boisvert was named one of the “Top 40 Under 40” business leaders.

Mr. Boisvert has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from McGill University.
